It was just an excellent fit for a break on a long journey in South Padre Island with reasonable value. The manager was friendly and made check-in easy, which I appreciated after a long drive. Make sure to bring your own kitchen utensils if you plan to cook.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sand without needing to drive.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was concerning, with visible dust accumulation in several corners that suggested it hadn't been properly cleaned.

A charming little beach sanctuary
Just a half block from the beach, I enjoyed a relaxing morning by the pool, sipping coffee and mingling with fellow guests—who were all wonderfully friendly!
There was a slight musty smell in our room, likely a remnant from recent rains, which took some getting used to but didn't mar our overall experience.

missingWrote a review on Sept 05beachfront locationcozy sittingpoor cleanlinessuncomfortable mattress
The beachfront location made it easy to walk to the beach, which I loved. My room had a cozy sitting area perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. The kitchenette was a decent setup, but there were no utensils, not even a spoon, which was frustrating. The room had some visible cleanliness issues, like dust in the corners and worn sheets, making me feel unsure about the overall upkeep. The mattress was uncomfortable. I struggled to get a good night's sleep. The management seemed distant, as I could only reach them through email for any concerns. While I appreciated the outdoor seating area, the pool was not well maintained. I don't think I would choose to return, given the state of the accommodations.

Had an awesome time with my friends! The outdoor grills and clean pool were fantastic. We were super close to Wanna Wanna beach bar and just a short walk to the beach. Staff were friendly and we loved the fresh popcorn during our stay. Definitely recommend it for a group getaway!
One downside was the musty smell in our room, likely from recent rain. It was a little distracting at times but didn't ruin our fun overall.

Recommend it for budget seekers
Had a great time grilling on those shiny new BBQ pits,, my heart was warmed seeing my husband enjoy it like that. Katrina? She turned our little hiccup with the AC into a major upgrade by moving us to a cooler room, now that's service straight from the heavens!
It wasn't exactly on the cheaper side,, but for what we got, it's hard to complain.

Clean rooms with kitchenette setups that include basic utilities for cooking. The outdoor amenities like charcoal grills and 24-hour pool offer nice options for relaxing and enjoying meals outside.
Some rooms have a musty smell, likely due to moisture issues from recent rain, which can dampen the experience. The bathrooms need updates, particularly in the plumbing fixtures which can feel outdated.

Loved the cozy rooms, a clean pool, and just a stone's throw from the beach. Grabbed some popcorn in the afternoons—such a delightful touch! Management's updates are promising. feels like it's becoming a hidden gem!
But the musty aroma in the air? I thought I had walked into a vintage shoe shop! And don't even get me started on the bathroom updates—let's just say they’re on the to-do list!
